Support for Mastering the Methodology
Being First offers various ways for you to further your mastery of the Change Leader’s Roadmap Methodology.
The most thorough and detailed support is attending a Methodology Course. In this program, you dive deeply into the Methodology with users from other organizations. The learning is profound. You can discover more about this program at www.beingfirst.com.
Being First offers four paper-based products to support your learning. They include the Change Leader’s Roadmap Overview and the Change Leader’s Roadmap Checklist, published by Being First, Inc., as well as two books published by Jossey Bass, “Beyond Change Management: Advanced Strategies for Today’s Transformational Leaders” and “The Change Leader’s Roadmap: How to Navigate Your Organization’s Transformation.” You can acquire each of these resources at www.beingfirst.com.
The Change Leader’s Roadmap Overview provides a high level view of the Change Leader’s Roadmap, including the phases, purpose of each phase, activities, tasks, and task deliverables. Use this booklet to educate people about the basic structure of the Change Leader’s Roadmap and its process nature.
The Change Leader’s Roadmap Checklist is a planning tool for creating your change roadmap. Use it to select which tasks to include in your change effort’s process plan. Once you create your roadmap, you can also use the Checklist to alter it as needed and keep track of your revised plan. This at-a-glance status of your change effort reveals the tasks you have completed as well as those that need action. Use a new Checklist on every change you lead or support.
The two books, “Beyond Change Management” and “The Change Leader’s Roadmap,” were written as a set and provide a thorough overview of the Being First approach and methodology for transformation.
Being First also publishes Results from Change, a globally distributed e-newsletter, five or six times a year. Change leaders and consultants worldwide use this newsletter to continually hone their change skills. You can sign-up for this free e-newsletter at www.resultsfromchange.com.
